Peel and Eat Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 pound jumbo gulf shrimp, raw with shell and tail intact
- 12 ounces beer
- 2 Tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- Cut down the center of the back of each shrimp with a sharp knife and remove the vein, leaving the rest of the shell and tail intact
- Fill a large pot half way with water
- Add beer and spices
- Cut lemon into quarters and add to water with the juice squeezed into the pot
- Bring to a boil, then add shrimp
- Cook shrimp for 3 minutes
- Drain
- Serve hot or cold with cocktail sauce
