Double Fudge Saucepan Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 12-ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided in half
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Grease a 9-inch square baking pan with butter
- Mix sugar, water and butter in a medium sauce pan
- Cook over low heat until boiling, stirring constantly
- Remove from heat
- Add 1 cup of chocolate chips, stirring until melted
- Stir in eggs and vanilla
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt
- Stir into chocolate
- Stir in remaining chocolate chips and nuts
- Pour into baking pan
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 325 degrees
